Live Bee Removal Services and Honey Comb Removal Services
At D-Tek Live Bee Removal the bees are always removed live without the use of any pesticides. We believe in preserving our future by ensuring eco-friendly bee removal techniques are utilized. Our state-of-the-art vacuum removal process not only removes the bees without killing them, but we are careful to then contain the honey bees and transport them to our San Diego Apiary where they are free to pollinate crops and orchards. As much as possible, PLEASE don't exterminate the honeybees. Honey Bees and other bees are our pollinators and are too precious to our environment and our future food supply.
We not only remove all of the bees alive, but we also remove all of the honeycomb (beehive) as well. It is extremely critical that all of the honeycomb be removed because bees have an excellent sense of smell. After all the beehive has been removed we then spray an oil-based sealant over the infested area to eliminate the pheromones left behind
What Happens If You Don't Remove A Beehive
If a beehive is left behind, the smell of it will attract bees back to the area for years to come. If a typical size beehive is abandoned and is located in an attic or wall, once the bees have departed, the honey will completely melt out of the comb and will destroy drywall, stucco, siding, paint, etc. The abandoned beehive will then attract other pests such as ants and rodents.

Bee Removal Repairs
We handle any repair work that may be needed to your home, property or business after a live bee removal has been performed. The most common types of repairs are roofs, stucco, siding, and drywall which have been inhabited by honey bees, leaving the honeycomb and honey to be removed. All bee removal estimates are FREE and include any repair work that may be needed. Additionally, we are happy to offer a GUARANTEE on all roof, stucco, and siding repairs that they will not leak. If there is ever an issue with our repair work, give us a call and we'll address it right away.
After the repair is done it's time to start making sure the bees can't re-enter the structure and build another colony. We seal up any cracks, crevices, or holes that are present in the area the infestation took place. A guarantee is also given that bees will not come back to any area that is now bee proofed.
After all the removal work is completed at your San Diego home or business, the honeybees are dropped off to a local area beekeeper where they pollinate local crops. The longer the honey bees are in transport to the beekeeper the greater the chances of dehydration are to the honey bees. D-Tek Live Bee Removal currently has it's own apiary as well as multiple beekeepers across Southern California that we donate the honey bees to. By having multiple beekeepers and our own apiary to choose from, we are able to cut down on the time it takes to transport the honey bees.
Call D-Tek Live Bee Removal any time day or night. In most cases, we can usually come and take of your bee problem the same day you call.
